RED POOL HOUSE

I've always wanted to make a snow scene. Since it's not commom here in Brazil, I've never actually done one myself. Since I'm studying all types of landscapes and biomes, I decided it was time to change that. When I was creating this house, initially I thought I would create a black pool, or a concrete one. But then my associate told me, as kind of a joke, to make the pool blood, livid red.

The red pool became the center of everything: the whole house, despite all of it's remarkable nuances, revolved around that bright, saturated red that you just can't stop looking. That's why I decided to call it The Red Pool House.

I've always wanted to make a snow scene. Since it's not commom here in Brazil, I've never ever done one myself. Since I'm studying all types of landscapes and biomes, I decided it was time to change that.

I actually was inspired by the ADIDAS logo to create these 3 aligned walls. It was the first element of the project, I started designing from that on.

THE RED POOL HOUSE

When we created the images for this project, we wanted to transmit 3D images that impact our feelings, emotions and general experience with architecture.

FRAMING IS

ALSO ART

In this project, we explored a lot of cameras with strong and sharp angles. The distortion gives us a unique view of the project, highlighting shapes that in ordinary views we wouldn’t be able to appreciate so much.

VOLUMETRIC

SUBJECTIVITIES

When the subject is the geometry of the project, those angles tend to bring out the subjectivities of the volumetry, giving us a new perception of what that space could be. Evocative, sensual and dramatic, the Red Pool House is the perfect setting for passionate moments

A MEMORABLE PLACE

With an eye-catching exterior that contrasts with the rugged beauty of the landscape, contemporary architecture like this is something you won’t soon forget
